Sevilla FC - Espanyol Barcelona

19.8.2017 Football Primera Division Estadio R. Sanchez Pizjuan
Our pick: 1
Game analysis:

We’ll back the Andalusians to build on fine attacking displays from the last couple of fixtures and pick up a victory in the season opener in front of their fans.

Hellas Verona - SSC Napoli

19.8.2017 Football Serie A Stadio M. A. Bentegodi
Our pick: 2
Game analysis:

Dries Mertens grabbed a goal in Napoli’s 2-0 win, thus continuing his great form from last season. Don’t be surprised to see him open his Serie A account here as well. Hellas Verona look set to be in for a rough ride, as Napoli have won three out of four trips to this ground and will be full of confidence after effectively booking their spot in the group stages of this season’s Champions League.

Girona - Atletico Madrid

19.8.2017 Football Primera Division Estadi Municipal de Montilivi
Our pick: 2
Game analysis:

The quality is clearly on Atletico’s side, but we don’t see the value in the 4/9 odds offered on the away win since the team from Madrid dropped plenty of points on the road in the last term of Primera.

Juventus Turin - Cagliari Calcio

19.8.2017 Football Serie A Allianz Stadium
Our pick: 1
Game analysis:

This could be a very interesting game. For starters, Juventus have seen both Bonucci and Dani Alves, two important facets of their defense depart, whilst they have brought in several new faces. Douglas Costa and Mattia De Sciglio are amongst those likely to be in the starting XI for Allegri, and Juventus have a very strong record at their home ground. There’s no reason for them not to pick up all three points, but given that they are still coming to grips with their changed back-line, Cagliari may be able to grab a goal here.

Leicester City - Brighton & Hove Albion

19.8.2017 Football Premier League King Power Stadium
Our pick: 1
Game analysis:

Teams could play with much more freedom than in their opening day. Anyhow, Leicester is the team to back here. Under Craig Shakesphere, the Foxes finished last season with 5 wins and a draw from 7 matches. They average 2.5 goals in the process. With Vardy and co in fine form, Brighton must wait a bit longer for their first Premier League win in 25 years.
